Life in Lancaster.

  • Downtown Lancaster hosts several pubs, breweries, and eateries that cater to small groups, families, and under- and over-21 crowds.
  • Nightlife thrives with live music entertainment and novelty “hot spots” in downtown alone; art galleries, museums, and more than 200 outlet stores are landmarks for the tourist trade
  • Restaurants of all types from Fuddruckers to Pennsylvania Dutch smorgasbords to the Purple Mug coffee shop to Japanese, Thai, Indian, Italian, Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, French, Cajun, and Middle Eastern cuisine

Campus life.

  • Franklin & Marshall sponsors more than 100 active student organizations ranging from Amnesty International to the Hip-Hop Review to the Wilderness Club
